If you live in New York City and taken a cab within the last year, you’ve most likely come across the GPS / TV / Credit card machine thingy that was imposed upon the cabbies.
Problem is that if it’s raining like tonight (a mere drizzle), the GPS and credit card machines don’t work.

I guess it’s close enough – a mere 10 miles and about a $30 cab ride off. I had a good cabbie though.
